Board repair is quoted on inspection, because the fault must be diagnosed before a price is given.
How board repair works
Diagnosis and quote
We bench-test the device, check the power rails and identify the failed component. You receive a quote before any repair work starts, and we will tell you straight if a board repair is not viable or not worth it.
Liquid damage recovery
For liquid-damaged devices we ultrasonically clean the board, treat corrosion and replace shorted components. The sooner a liquid-damaged device reaches us, the better the chance of recovery, so do not charge it or try to dry it with heat.
Microsoldering and component replacement
Component-level work is done under a microscope by trained technicians. We replace shorted chips, damaged FPC connectors and lifted pads, and repair traces, restoring function without swapping the whole board.
Data recovery from dead devices
When a device will not power on but the storage is intact, we can often recover your photos, contacts and files by repairing the board or reading the storage directly. If the data matters most, tell us before any repair is attempted.
